摘要

There are presented the results of studying strain accumulation in various steels while cold lengthwise rolling preforms in idler rollers. Cold rolling with single reductions per pass in-between 3…6 percent is shown to promote more distinct structure fragmentation through perform cross-section, better metal formability as well as decreasing its damaging level. Total deformation values, at which softening heat treatment is necessary, are determined. Regimes of reduction ensuring defectless cold rolling of steels under investigation in idler rollers are defined.
