Ceramic filters for purification of potable water

摘要

Ceramic A1{sub}2O{sub}3 and TiC filters developed for cleaning potable water are presented. Study of the filters performed at the ROSA center showed that ceramic filters are capable of effective cleaning of potable water from Fe, Mn, Ba, Ce, Zn, U and other elements. Moreover SiC filters reduce the content of organic carbon and some toxic elements dissolved in water.
