摘要

This paper proposes an inverse method for the reconstruction of cracks from eddy current testing signals and reports the reconstruction of natural cracks with use of the method. The natural cracks were modeled as an assembly of small regions with non-zero electric conductivity. Simulations were carried out on a supercomputer with use of up to 128 CPUs in parallel, whose results revealed that parallel computing is very effective in ECT inversion problems. The method could reconstruct profiles that agreed well with true ones within 600 seconds.
