Data are presented on the study of the structure and transformation of gels of low and rapid hydrolysis in acidic aqueous media free of organic solvents. Conditions of clatrate formation in gel clusters are discussed. Data on DTA, IR-, and x-rayphase analysis of gels of low and rapid hydrolysis with different catalysts are presented. Conditions carbon clatrate formation in gel clusters are specified.
