High pressure treatment technique and modification in material properties of aluminum alloys

摘要

High pressure treatment techniques have been oneof the most unique tools controlling for thermodynamics ofmaterials. They have been widely used as a synthesis technique ofnew materials in fields of science and technology. This articleshows the overview of a high pressure generation technique andthermodynamic considerations of high pressure phases diagram inalloys. As a example of the application of this technique to alloys,changes of phase diagram in aluminum-rich Al alloys and theirmechanical properties were also shown.
