Plasma-arc cutting as a promising thermal cutting method

摘要

Main properties, regularities and advantages of the plasma-arc cutting processes as an universal thermal cutting method for different metals in particular as compared with autogenous cutting middle thickness carbon steels are considered. Conditions are defined and measures are developed which provide improvement of the plasma-arc technological and economic efficiency.
