A new era for Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Physiology.

From the first issue of 2011, Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Physiology (CEPP) will become an 'online only' journal. The major driver of this move was ideological, because the environmental footprint of the journal will be greatly reduced when we cease to produce printed versions. But in addition to the environmental benefits of a move to online only, it will also bring about new opportunities for our authors and readers. First, all authors will now be able to use colour figures in their papers at no cost. In the past, the prohibitive cost of colour reproduction has been a significant impediment for many authors. Second, a paper will appear in its final published form within 2 months of acceptance. Thus, authors can now be confident that both our peer review and production systems are geared towards rapid publication. The move to online only will be preceded by a significant upgrade in our journal Webpage and to the web-based platform for delivery of journal content.
