The MICREXSX series (SX) of integrated controllers incorporate advanced technology such as high-speed processing and are being applied in a wider array of fields. This paper describes flexible system solutions and the software modularization that leverage the SX's special features (higher speed and open network) and which support the growing range of applications. Also presented are an actual application example, development techniques such as for the block engineering used in an application, and other components that support applications.
