Fuji Electric developed the basic technology of three-dimensional computer graphics (CG) application, and recently has developed the application technology of three-dimensional CG simulation using CG scenes. People can not only see a completed system graphically but also point out considerations at the early stage, having an effect on reduction in returns. This paper describes application examples of three-dimensional CG simulation to represent visuality reality and sensibility as well as tools to efficiently draw up three-dimensional CG, including an automated setting tool for lighting.
