Field assistance system for power utility field tasks

摘要

A power system is configured from generating plants, transmission lines, substations, distributionlines, telecommunication networks, and so on. In order to provide assistance in the field tasksnecessary for the inspection, maintenance, and expansion of these facilities, we have developed thefield assistance system. This system is characterized by a Web-based architecture comprising a personal handy-phonesystem (PHS) interface and database access. The system has functions that permit the transfer ofpicture data via the PHS network, Web-based database access, and an agent-technology-basedmobile environment.
