Thermal relays, combined with magnetic contactors, are widely used as protective devices to prevent motors from burning together with automation and labor-saving devices to various facilities. In recent complicated and large-scale productionSystems, a motor failure causes a great influence on the system, so protection reliability is desired to be more improved. In response to this, Fuji Electric has developed a new thermal overload relay TR series, aiming at (1) improvement in protectiveprecision, (2) highly reliable NO and NC contacts, (3) reduction in the width dimension, (4) addition of various functions, (5) ample optional units and (6) conformity to international standards.
