This paper reports our investigation of an operation support system (OSS) for a quasi-millimeter wave FWA system that complies with the concept of TMN (Telecommunications Management Network). The protocol for a center server internal process and the HMI terminals is constructed on CMIP (Common Management Information Protocol). The protocol between the center server and the wireless Access Ports (APs) is SNMP because of its ease of implementation and low wireless device costs. This paper proposes an SNMP trap receiver process server with the trap receive function using an SNMP receive port number and delivery CMIP message for CMIP manager processes. In order to deal with many circuit warning traps that would occur with rainfall attenuation, a manager program with lower thread priority for the circuit warning trap than the thread for the equipment failure alarm was examined: measured results are shown.
