This paper presents the flight trajectories of a lifting space vehicle performing hypersonic coasting flight for aero-intercept and aero-rendezvous maneuvers at constant altitude. One constraint to be considered is the maneuvering G-value. The heating rate constraint shall also be discussed. The aero-rendezvous maneuver is different from the aero-intercept in the final conditions. Since the final conditions of the aero-rendezvous maneuver are much more stringent than aero-interception, it is expected that the maximum range of the optimal trajectory will be reduced. Further reduction can be caused by the G-value constraint. In this paper, we shall use the coordinate system translation technique to ease the numerical computation.
