Recent Environmental Problem and Countermeasure

Recent target for environmental problem is spreading from so-called pollution problem to the environmental assurance on an earth scale or new materials to be regulated. A value expressed by a word "environmentally friendly" is also generally getting recognized as the value to be required to merchandise in addition to the functional value, the aesthetic value and so on heretofore. That is, values of "environmentally friendly product" and "geophysically friendly process" are now required to, for instance, steel product and its manufacturing process. Further, there is a trend towards which the environmental assessment of merchandise in its life cycle and the opening of environmental information to the public are now being required. Each enterprise should study its own activity how to cope with this changing of environmental arrangements as they are now and set to work in a concrete way hereafter.
