SIZE ANALYSIS AND DRESSABILITY STUDY OF APATITE-NEPHELINE ORE OF THE KHIBIN ROCK MASS

Results of research in prospects of treatment of the 《Apatite》 JSC ores are presented. The research was conducted on the basis of results of testing flotation kinetics with variable reagent regime. Kinetics data have been processed by means of research software package 《Uniflot》, realizing the theory of separation processes by O.N.Tikhonov. Application of 《Uniflot》 has permitted to determine major (from viewpoint of separation processes) characteristics of each ore type - flotometric analysis - for various reagent regimes, as well as maximum possible concentration indices (total concentrate yield, content of P_2O_5 in this concentrate and recovery). Obtained data permit to predict commercial concentration results and may be used for planning of dressing facility operation.
