Optimal hyaluronidase dosage

I read the recent article on the interesting subject of hyaluronidase adverse reactions. I wish to comment on two issues. First, the aetiology of hyaluronidase reaction remains unclear. The authors collected four cases in Adelaide of postoperative periorbital swelling. Allergy testing for hyaluronidase was negative in all cases. However, five cases of postoperative periorbital swelling were collected in 2006 also from Adelaide. In this series, allergy testing for hyaluronidase was positive in all cases. The total discrepancy of findings between the two studies conducted on the same population raises more questions than answers.
