On the concepts of development of the technologies aimed at utilization of the oil-contaminated wastes with the purpose of their return to the source of raw materials

Great volumes of the oil-contaminated wastes and oily effluents are annually generated and stored by industrial enterprises both as emergency discharges, and in the course of normal operation. Methods of utilization of these substances depend on their specific kind, quantity, and properties. This article analyses the basic methods of their rational utilization, resource-saving liquidation measures, as well as the basic methods of recovery of the used oils with the purpose of their return to the source of raw materials.
