Out-of-roundness of pipes. Part I. Calculation of additional strain from internal pressure

摘要

The article illustrates disadvantages of standard procedures of determination of out-of-roundness of the form of cross section of pipes. Their types are shown and the methods of primary processing of the data that include in particular the deviation of the form from ideal one are offered. The practical formulas for determination of additional strains of the bends from defects of form at the result of internal pressure are provided.
