Electrical resistance and thermal expansion of perovskite oxide Eu_0.58Sr_0.42MnO_3 have been measured at high pressure and high magnetic fields in order to investigate the metal- insulator transition of this compound. It is found that the metal- insulator transition is induced by applying pressure at low temperature. An anomaly in the thermal expansion was observed near the metal- insulator transition fields. at low temperature. On the basis of these results, the -precise H-T phase diagram is obtained at high pressure.
