摘要

Fine particles of ceria precursors were prepared from the cerium chloride solution with ammonium hydrogencarbonate. In thid method, pH was kept to be constant and the nucleation site was increased by hydrogen carbonate. The surface area of ceria depended on the CeCl_3 concentration in the preparation. High surface area of 184 m~2 g~(-1) of ceria was obtained by the calcination at 300 deg C of the precursors prepared from the CeCl_3 concentration of 10 mM. The reaction rate in the solution was controlled by the CeCl_3 concentration.
