Seven Hundred Fourth Meeting: The Naval Medical Research Center/Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Silver Spring, Maryland, 14 May 2010. President Allen Richards held an Executive Committee meeting and then opened the general meeting, during which the following papers were presented: "Status of Malaria Vaccine Development at NMRC/ WRAIR," by David Fryauff, Malaria Research Department, The Naval Medical Research Center; "Ectoparasites: The UPS of Emerging Rickettsial Pathogens," by Todd Myers, Viral and Rickettsial Diseases Department, The Naval Medical Research Center; and "Cyclospora cayetanensis: An Emerging Protozoan Parasite," by Chris Whitehouse, Functional Genomics Center, United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases. Food and refreshments followed the scientific session.
