非小細胞肺癌手術例に対する術後症例:診療実態調査研究Patterns of Care Study(PCS 99-01)による放射線治療の診療過程

The PCS conducted a nationwide audit survey of PORT for 627 stage I -M NSCLC patients. The median age was 65 years. The pathological stage was stage I in 8%, E in 17%, and IE in 65%. The median field size was 9x11 cm, with a median total dose of 50 Gy. The photon energy of < 6 MV was used for 34% of all patients, Thirty patients received systemic chemotherapy.During the study period, PORT was used mainly for stage HI NSCLC. Obsolete equipments such as Cobalt-60 unit or 4 MV photons were still used for considerable proportion of the surveyed patients.
