摘要

This paper proposes parallel-type coherent multistage interference canceller (COMSIC) with iterative channel estimation using multiple antenna reception coupled with space/polarization diversity and investigates its interference suppression effect in the DS-CDMA reverse link. Simulation results elucidates that when the antenna configuration with B blocks, each comprising D antennas with high fading correlation, is used, maximum capacity is achieved with B =2 from the tradeoff between the improving diversity effect and channel estimation accuracy, and that the increase of the required average transmit E{sub}b/N{sub}0 at the average BER of 10{sup}(-3) when the number of simultaneous users is 120 from that of single user case is only approximately 2.0 dB when the spreading factor was SF = 16 with space diversity reception (B = 2 and D = 4). It is also clarified that although the required transmit E{sub}b/N{sub}0 coupled with polarization diversity is increased, space needed for antenna implementation is decreased compared the case using space diversity.
