摘要

In a wireless ad hoc network, a network among ubiquitous terminals which are temporally close situated, terminals are expected to provide switch and relay functions as network resources. Dynamic topology such as the number of terminals and the relative location and velocity among terminals must be considered. In this paper, we first define flooding as a prior phase for routing processes in a wireless ad hoc network. We examine a flooding method which reduce redundant forwarding traffic based on received signals' strength. Finally, we propose a new additional mechanism for controlling transmission power, which increases the adaptivity of the flooding method.
