摘要

The demand for indoor high-speed wireless networks is increasing and millimeter-wave bandwidths seem to be especially suitable for ad hoc wireless systems. At the communications research laboratory, we have has commenced a project to experiment with millimeter-wave communication systems that use a frequency of 70 GHz. The experiments were performed in an office environment at frequencies of 60 and 70GHz. We measured the propagation characteristics depending on the antenna height and the propagation characteristics depending on the distance between the transmitter and receiver in LOS and NLOS environments. We also measured the propagation characteristics depending on the angle of the receiving antenna in NLOS environment. The results of the propagation measurements are presented.
