摘要

In this paper, for the purpose of reducing switching power losses of both power semiconductor devices and electromagnetic noises (EMI,RFI) on large-capacity power source system using voltage source type sinewave PWM inverter and PFC converter as well as bi-directional converter, a circuit topology of the auxiliary resonant commutation snubber is proposed and discussed for soft switching transition of the voltage source source pulse modulated inverter. The operation principle and characteristics of this active auxiliary snubber circuit is described, together with a practical design procedure of this unique resonant snubber. Furthermore, the computer simulation analysis of single phase full bridge soft switching PWM inverter using the resonant bridge leg snubbers treated here, the simulation results of this inverter are evaluated as compared with hard switching inverter.
