摘要

In this paper, in order to minimize switching power losses of power semiconductor devices and electromagnetic noises (EMI,RFI) on large-capacity AC power supply using the voltage source type soft switching sinewave PWM inverter and PFC converter, a circuit topology of the auxiliary resonant commutation snubber treated here, is proposed for zero voltage soft switching transition under a condition of high frequency PWM strategy. The operation principle and characteristics of this active auxiliary snubber circuit is described for voltage source type inverter, together with a practical design procedure of this resonant snubber. Furthermore, the computer simulation analysis of single phase full bridge soft switching PWM inverter using the auxiliary resonant snubbers treated here, the simulation and experimental results are evaluated as compared with single phase sinewave PWM hard switching inverter.
