Investigation results and means are discussed for the field emission and thermoemission of electron from nanoclusters carbon structures that are a new material for emission electronics. Made in the form of thin films, they are characterized by a low work function of electrons and ensure a high stable electron field emission under the conditions of normal operating vacuum, as well as a considerable thermal electron emission even at low temperatures. Some ways to enhance the field emission from carbon nanotubes are considered.
