With model development, it can be used at the orchard to determine the fruit maturitystage and can tell you when to begin and end harvest for particular varieties. It can also be used at the storage facility to determine which harvested fruit is at optimal maturity for long-term storage and which fruit is over-mature and should go for immediate sale.
