A system built over WWW to support group coordination based on Kepner-Tregoe program

摘要

Group Problem Solving is a mechanism which all the Participants collaboratively solve a problem by utilizing their knowledge and experiences. Therefore, if this mechanism is used skillfully for problem solving, it is more effective in solving a problem than solving the problem for oneself. However, since it IS_NOT easy to use the mechanism skillfully, the success of Group Problem Solving depends on whether a coordinator is good. Therefore, it is desired to implement a system to support group problem solving process strongly, so that all the Participants can effectively utilize their knowledge and experiences in the process. It is required to introduce a principle for navigating group problem solving process into a support system. The authors introduced Kepner-Tregoe program into the system as the principle, and then they are developing the system over WWW. This Paper proposes a method for implementing Group Problem Solving System based on Kepner-Tregoe program.
