摘要

Utilization of the deep and large underground space.Especially, geological disposal of nuclear waste might beincreasing in future. Typical results of space safety assessmentsmake it clear that there can be no good scientific reason fortransacting analyses at more than 10,000 year's interval.The most important technical tasks concern the development anddevelopment and deployment of suitable science and technologyfor implementing safe underground facilities.Experiences worldwide has shown that the most controversialtechnical tasks, however, are the formulation of appropriate safetyrequirement together with criteria for demonstrating compliancewith these requirements, and the preparation of comprehensive andtransparent case study that demonstrates repository safety. It mustbe clear to all interested parties exactly how the engineered andgeologic barriers work in concert in a robust manner to provide thesafety. The qualitative arguments that support our understandingof large-term behavior of a repository must be explained.One of the first and must critical phases of field development isreliable geological interpretation and precise geological characterization.Geological interpretation and precise characterization and safetyassessments, make it clear that there could be scientific analysis bystages on the scale of island arc, wide and middle regions. Ofcourse, near field analysis and future assessment is most importantto take precise data and to analysis them.This paper, discuss on the geological characteization of the KinkiDistrict for the case study.
