摘要

The shaping technique of bells is either scientific and advanced:1) The technique contains integral thinking and concept. It belongs to the scientific system of sub-systematic engineering.2) A systematic calculation formula for engineering design is set up.3) Based on the above, assembling model, the key part is created. No matter how many small moulds are there, they all can be correctly assembled into an integrity on this model.4) Although there is no document evidence, it can be inferred that series standard data has been established in Zhou Dynasty, such as, from the big bell of bass to small bell of high pitch different length of side corner angles of bell and temperament. The chime with different tone can be cast by selecting proper data of the length of side corner angle of bell.5) As to the technique, it has reached the high level of industrialized casting in batches. Because of the limitation of pottery materials, the casting times of bells with fine decorative pattern are 20 to 30 times. If more times, the cast pattern will not be good as before. If modern metal or hard chemical materials are used to make bell model may cast tens of thousands of bells.
