摘要

Nondestructive evaluation of flaking-resistance in thermal sprayed Cr{sub}2O{sub}3 and ZrO{sub}2 was attempted. The full-width at half maximum taken from the X-ray diffraction peak profile was used as a nondestructive evaluation method in this experiment. The results by the nondestructive method were compared to results with scratch test. By results obtained, we found that nondestructive evaluation of the thermal sprayed coating is possible.
