摘要

Now in Mazda, in order to establish a solid foundation on where variable demands of markets can be smartly dealt with, an innovative project is being undertaken. Through this project MDI, the latest facility and information technology (IT) are introduced to ail the manufacturing process from planning to mass production. Testing & Research Dept. sets 2 task items as the concept of innovation; one is the shift from the development depending on long-term field test to the development based on lab. simulation and CAE predictive simulation. Another task item is the application of cascade-type development by which vehicle target is theoretically broken down for each level of system and component. For the realization of the above task items, we have to develop; - technique to simulate field testing in lab, and cascade the target from complete vehicle to systems, and to components (Experimental region) - technique to predict specific phenomenon during driving (road inputs, deformation stress...) based on lab. simulation data (CAE region) This paper describes our innovative image and core technologies for the development of strength reliability.
