摘要

The Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery was established in 1956 to conduct fundamental research on the principles of operation, design, construction and development of machinery for energy conversion in fluid flow. The Institute employs about 80 scientific personnel and 50 administrative and technical staff. Having four main centres, the Institute is further divided into 17 scientific departments. Centre for Plasma and Laser Engineering (CPLE) is one of the four centres. Its interest is focused on physics and technique of plasma and lasers and their applications.
