Turkish delight: Anatolian Eagle 2014-2

THE AE2014-2 EXERCISE saw 78 aircraft taking part, all of which flew from the 3rd Main Jet Base at Konya in central Turkey. Added to this were several other Turkish assets - including a KC-135 Stratotanker - operating from their home bases. The exercise scenarios were wide and varied, and involved typical warfighting scenarios in which a friendly Blue Air coalition package would fly into an area to conduct a strike mission.
