A polymer of good compatibility for gel

The gel products for hair setting were formulated by crosslinked carboxy vinyl polymer and polyvinylpirrolidone until now. This method is not given durable setting for hair. We designed the new copolymer that was composed of (meth) acrylic acid and N,N-dimethylaminopropylmethacrylamide. Further the copolymer is neutralized by 2-amino-2-methyl-propanol (AMP). We found out this copolymer that became mixing well to the crosslinked carboxy vinyl polymer. The gels were well transparent. And their viscous did not fall. Our new polymer was named "PLASCIZE L-4485V). It is able to compose in various gels.
