Pursuant to the Aviation Act as amended in December, 2,000, the medium luminous intensity flashing white obstacle light can be installed on the high building structure for daytime (twilight) and night time use. Having marketed the 120° medium luminous intensity white obstacle light, we have commercialized a medium luminous intensity obstacle light which can be horizontally observed from every direction by adopting the xenon lamp for series control of 3 lights and this achievement will be reported in this paper. This system is compact in size and light in weight for easy maintenance regardless of the installation site. Since it is possible to combine the light emitting section and the power supply section into one or to use them in the separate form, the system is available for various installation conditions. With this development, we have now 3 types of obstacle light systems such as high and medium luminous intensity types (120° and 360°) so as to meet the various needs of the market.
