A novel distributed control scheme is proposed for the parallel operation of single phase on-line UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply). In this scheme, all the UPSs that are interconnected only by two common lines have exactly the same circuit configuration. So the real redundancy is achieved. The theoretical analysis and simulation results assure the current sharing with high precision. Experiments are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy with three UPSs. The results show that the control scheme is simple and feasible, and the current sharing is precise in both dynamic response and static state.
