This meeting contains 420 abstracts written in Japanese and English. Horticulture, molecular genetics, virology, and agronomy are all discussed. Other topics include virus composition, viral movement, morphological characteristics, phenotypic complementation and pathogenicity. Ecological implications and symptom development are also discussed. Rice blast, phytoplasmal infection and Cucumber mosaic virus infection are also discussed.
