The occurrence of Psylla evodiae Miyatake, which has been known to occur on Euodia meliifolia (Rutaceae) in the Yaeyama Islands of Japan and in Taiwan, has been newly recorded in Kyushu (Fukuoka, Nagasaki, and Kagoshima prefectures) and on Yakushima Island and Okinawa Island in southwestern Japan. In addition, it has been confirmed that P. evodiae feeds on Murraya paniculata (Rutaceae), which is a newly recorded host plant in southern Kyushu (Kagoshima Prefecture) and Yakushima Island.
