摘要

This paper discusses the regulation of soyabean seed storage protein production in relation to sulphur nutrition. The various types of storage protein present in seeds are discussed and the regulation of gene expression in protein production is considered. Special attention is given to the effects of sulphur deficiency and its influence on the proteins produced especially on changes in the levels of methionine.
