Epilepsy is a chronic and functional pathophysiology of the brain that may occur in all mammalian species. In the veterinary field, epilepsy is a common neurological disease in dogs Epilepsy research in dogs is very important, because the etiology andelectrophysiology of epilepsy is similar between dogs and humans. However, few epilepsy studies have targeted canine epilepsy, and a clinical breakthrough in canine epilepsy has occurred.
