Endoscopic removal of foreign bodies from the upper digestive tract using flexible alligator forceps

Dirofilaria immitis foreign bodies were removed endoscopically from the upper digestive tract of 6 dogs. Small and hard foreign bodies were removed directly with flexible alligator forceps (FAF) and large and soft foreign bodies were removed by an electrocautery wire-loop and FAF.
