At the Farnborough International Airshow in July, Raytheon briefed reporters on its T-100 offering for the US Air Force's T-X trainer contest. DESPITE BEING ONE of the hottest competitions in military aerospace right now, surprisingly little is being said about the US Air Force's T-38 Talon replacement program, or T-X. The Boeing/Saab team said nothing about its 'clean-sheet' design at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) in July. Northrop Grumman was once again absent from the show. Lockheed Martin too remained tight-lipped about the T-50A that it is offering to the USAF.
