Potato, an inportant crop in Fiji, was recently reintroduced to reduce its high in^ort expense. Most growers use chemical fertilizers (CF) but are faced with high fertilizer costs. As a result, total input of CF is not enough for getting a good yieldIn this research, sources of nitrogen (N) including CF (21% N), swine manure (SM, 1.8% N) and poultry manure (PM, 2.5% N) composts were applied in a continuous potato production system. Their effects on yield, apparent N recovery and the internalN use efficiencies were measured
