Which Osteospermum as a flowering pot plant.

During 2002-03, the Experimental Institute for Floriculture in Sanremo, Italy, undertook the testing of 62 cultivars of Osteospermum at 3 locations in the Albenga and Sanremo areas. Characteristics influencing suitability as an outdoor flowering pot plant were evaluated, including (i) plant form, structure, height and diameter, (ii) flower colour, number and head diameter, and (iii) earliness, flowering duration and total flower production.
