Information is presented on the open day organized by the ornamental nursery farm Lazzeri of Merano, Italy, on 12-13 November 2004, which opened its greenhouses for the public to present new cultivars of cyclamen, poinsettia and chrysanthemum for the year 2005. Descriptions and illustrations are presented for red, pink and white-flowered poinsettia cultivars Enduring, Pla Eckespoint Monreale Early Red, Pla Eckespoint Prestige, Pla Monreale Red, Pla Eckespoint Primero and Pla Eckespoint Tosca Red. Information is included on colour intensity of foliage and bracts, the form of leaves and bracts, earliness, vigour, branching habits, compactness, dwarfing tendencies and availability to consumers.
