Brain and mind operational architectonics and man-made'machine' consciousness

摘要

To build a true conscious robot requires that arobot's "brain" be capable of supporting the phenomenalconsciousness as human's brain enjoys. OperationalArchitectonics framework through exploration of the tem-poral structure of information flow and inter-areainteractions within the network of functional neuronalpopulations [by examining topographic sharp transitionprocesses in the scalp electroencephalogram (EEG) on themillisecond scale] reveals and describes the EEG archi-tecture which is analogous to the architecture of thephenomenal world. This suggests that the task of creatingthe "machine" consciousness would require a machineimplementation that can support the kind of hierarchicalarchitecture found in EEG.
