CIS plants started to raise their long product prices in February urged bygrowing production costs and the difference between domestic and exportquotations. Russian producers managed to compensate for the productioncosts growth almost to the full, while Ukrainian plants are unable to bringtheir prices sharply up owing to strong competition in the domestic market.
